Aristides Koutouvides, Principal

Aristides Koutouvides serves as Principal and Co-founder of Skala Construction, a Connecticut based commercial construction management company founded in 2014.

Prior to founding Skala Construction, Mr. Koutouvides also Co-founded Skala Partners in 2013, an opportunistic real estate investment, development and management company. Together these companies create a vertically integrated and dynamic real estate platform to execute on project opportunities in the market.

Mr. Koutouvides also previously worked as Vice President of Asset Management and Acquisitions at LCOR, Inc. covering the New York Metropolitan market. During his time at LCOR, Mr. Koutouvides worked on new deal pursuits and placed over $225MM in term debt on multi-family assets in both New York City and Connecticut.

Prior to joining LCOR, he spent 12 years working for Lehman Brothers Inc., holding several positions throughout his tenure. Most recently, he held the position of Team Leader for the Real Estate Workout and Restructuring Group. As Team Leader, he was responsible for managing a team of professionals who oversaw a $1.6 billion portfolio of commercial real estate investments. He also spearheaded the recapitalization and sale of Lehman’s interests in a real estate operating company for more than $800 million to CalSTRS.

Mr. Koutouvides graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Philosophy.
